Privacy and advertising
Updated 24 October 2026. Engine1 is operated by Orr Yoffe.
Your tool inputs
JSON, email text, playlists and calculator inputs are processed inside the browser tool workspace. Engine1 does not upload those inputs as part of its activity measurement. Downloaded reports are created locally. Provider links take you to separate websites with their own policies.
First-party activity measurement
Public pages can store a random identifier in local storage under engine1_anonymous. The server stores a keyed hash of this identifier alongside page visits, action names, broad referral host, campaign source, visible time and interaction signals. Tool inputs are not included. These identifiers represent browsers, not verified people. Measurement respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Signals and visits are retained for up to 180 days; routine server access logs are separate and may contain network addresses and browser information.
You can enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control to disable this measurement and clear site storage in your browser. Operator and administrator cookies are used to exclude internal testing and maintain owner sessions.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is off until you explicitly choose Allow Google Analytics. Decline keeps it off; you can withdraw using the same controls at the bottom of public tool and guide pages. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control override a saved opt-in. Google may use first-party cookies to measure visits, engagement and tool-use event names. We strip query strings and fragments from reported page addresses and reduce referral addresses to their origin. Tool inputs, form contents, email payloads and playlist text are not included. Google advertising personalization and Google signals are not enabled by this integration. GA4 figures cover consenting browsers and can differ from first-party counts; neither is a verified count of people.
Google advertising
Engine1 has applied to Google AdSense. Paid ad serving is not active while site review, payment setup and consent configuration are pending. When enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, network addresses and browsing information to deliver and measure advertisements. Personalization choices will be presented through Google's consent message where applicable. The tool workspace remains separate from ad placements.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, Google advertising technologies, and manage preferences in My Ad Center. Rejecting personalized advertising will not prevent use of Engine1's tools.
